Sail On AS is based in Vestfold and delivers experiences throughout the Oslofjord and along the coast of Eastern Norway and Bohuslän. We have many years of experience with courses, sailing events, RIB events and expeditions.
We offer courses, so people gain the practical experience needed to be on the water, and events that give them experiences they remember for the rest of their lives.

Carl Roar founded Sail On
Carl Roar Aamli founded Sail On AS and has many years of experience at sea. He has served in the Norwegian Navy, worked for the RNLI in the United Kingdom, and is trained as an RYA instructor. Carl Roar is a skipper and instructor, and is usually out on events, courses, expeditions or other assignments.

Tom Remman

4.78· 18 reviewsTom Remman comes from Holmestrand and grew up in the Oslo Fjord with the first surf wave in the 1980s. Tom works with product development of existing and new tours, and plans and carries out tours in collaboration with guides. You call, and Tom handles your booking and further communication. Tom is also our sailing event skipper and RIB driver.

Haakon Seeberg
Projects, instructor and skipper
Haakon Seeberg is a trained educator and has lifelong maritime experience. He grew up by the open sea and has few childhood memories that do not involve some form of boating. Haakon is focused on seamanship and safety at sea and has experience from the Coast Guard as a navigator and as a skipper in the Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue for the past 20 years. He has extensive sailing experience and has for several years worked on a 19th-century Arctic ship and as a skipper in the market offering courses and experiences with sailboats and RIBs.
Ruud Flietstra
Projects, instructor and skipper
Ruud Flietstra is trained as an industrial and engine mechanic and is originally from the Netherlands. Over the years, he has gained experience as a skipper at a boat workshop and within tourism. At Sail On, Ruud is responsible for everything related to RIB operations as well as all technical aspects of the fleet. In addition to Norwegian, he speaks Dutch, English and some German.

Courses
From the boating licence to the ICC. The goal is that you can go from no sea experience at all to being safe on the water.
Events
More than 80 sailing events and RIB tours for companies every year, tailored for kick-offs and team building throughout the Oslofjord.
Expeditions
Longer trips with overnight stays, as far as Denmark in the south, Sweden in the east and Lofoten in the north.
Sailboat rental
If you have the experience, you can rent a sailboat from us and bring the people who matter most to you.
Miljøfyrtårn since 2022
The certification commits us to keep assessing our environmental footprint and to make changes that take better care of nature and the sea.
Skipper with us?
We are always looking for qualified people who can take on assignments as independent skippers with RIBs or sailboats. It suits anyone who works shifts, has maritime experience and the right certificates. Send us your sailing or RIB CV and copies of your certificates.
