What you learn
Five days aboard. Competent Crew takes you from beginner to watch leader, Day Skipper takes you into the skipper's role and on towards the ICC exam on the last day.
The courses are held in a First 40.7 or equivalent, with life jackets for everyone. You do not need to dream of sailing to learn a lot from them.
ICC and D5L
The ICC is an international certificate for leisure boats up to 15 metres. Sail On is approved by the Norwegian Maritime Authority for both the theory and the practical test.
The boating licence
The theory part. You can take it as an online course with us.
Practical check
You show an approved examiner that you handle a boat safely, under engine, sail or both. Think of it as the driving test for a car.
Health declaration
You fill it in on the ICC application itself.
